Hull & Sepuya
With this series, one can access the multifaceted world of Timothy Hull & Paul Mpagi Sepuya, two American artists who work separately yet seamlessly. Originally titled The Accidental Egyptian and occidental arrangements, these portraits of a “silent character” entice viewers to devise a plausible narrative around these “accidental” images.
Art Book Magazine
The book features over 25 photograph-based collages of xerox imagery on cut paper. Culling from our personal image collection, the collages reflect not only our personal aesthetics and sensibilities but new compositions and relationships. This project is also furthering our respective use of xerox collage and book/zine format. The series is very much about arrangements, with repeating deconstructed portraiture and images of Coastal Maine, Rainforests and Ruins all taking cues from each other to suggest various relationships of cultural and humanistic qualities

Warning. Due to the nature of the xerox documents, this publication is a better fit for retina screens. On a classic device, a moiré effect appears on full spreads, but disappears while zooming. The delicacy of the collages being our priority, we chose not to impair these images, even if it would have solved this issue.
