This first catalogue contains the drawings and paintings of the artist P.Nicolas Ledoux, done between 2005 and 2006. Introduced with a text by Christophe Le Gac on the conceptual issues of this work of resumptions and references - between appropriationism and art criticism - this edition is supplemented by brief quotations extracted from L’art dans l'indifférence de l’art by Jean-Claude Moineau, together with a rich iconography: reproductions of black and white drawings in small formats mixing History and histories of art, paintings that the artist has commissioned others to paint, invitations to his artist friends (Ultralab™, Damien Beguet, Icon Tada). This volume lays the foundations of a work that has not stopped developing and transforming, but whose issues and problems were already well in place.
As a bonus over the printed version, a whole colour section with reproductions of the paintings was added to this digital version, in order to record all of their range and quality.
