Notes on unfinished projects

Through notes, dratfs, pictures and email exchanges, this notebook documents the development of Until the sun rises, a long-running work by Tokyo-based French artist Emmanuel Guillaud. Under the title Until the sun rises, he created a series of installations made of synchronised projections, whose latest incarnations have been exhibited at Singapore Art Museum, gp gallery (Tokyo) and School Gallery (Paris).
Notes on unfinished projects immerses the reader in the twists and turns of creative acts, and unveils exchanges, collaborations and questionings. It also allows to glimpse at aborted projects, or those yet to be.
Created with Japanese book designer Kiyoshi Takami, this notebook was first published in English and Japanese Heuristic (Tokyo). This new version, in English, has been reworked specifically for the iPad.
