Écriture vidéoludique 1
Écriture - Vidéoludique
We are very proud to present the first issue of an interactive magazine on Art Book Magazine, and even more so because this new title focuses on the entanglements of videogames with “canonical” art; a complex, fascinating territory too often neglected in the press, by critics, and by exhibition curators alike.
Being ourselves of this generation who grew up playing videogames and plays them still, we are impatient for increased encounters of the universe of gaming with the circles of experimentation and creation, like we are impatient to see the world of art finally accept these new tools and media.
Écriture - Vidéoludique takes part in both these positive developments.
Every issue will be available for free until the next issue comes out, so don’t hold back and check it out!

Ps. This very first experience inspired us to collaborate for the graphics of upcoming issues with Nicolas Tilly and Delphine Deval, creators of Écriture - Vidéoludique.
Because of the video content, issues tend to be heavier, so be aware that loading the file will take a certain time. We recommend making sure the iPad doesn’t switch to sleep mode to avoid delaying loading completion.
Écriture - Vidéoludique aims to become a haven of (video)gaming meta, and to host the most original offbeat, subtle, visual, and textual experiments in the field.
Écriture - Vidéoludique doesn’t merely offer up a point of view: every issue represents an opportunity for several collaborators to chime in on original topics, using various formats, and to bridge analysis with discovery. Écriture - Vidéoludique is divided in 4 recurrent sections: Profile Pic (portrait), Electronic Ink (topical feature), Outside (video report), and Concept Zone (changeable).
