This is the catalogue of an exhibition of work by three artists, each of whom has recourse to Minimalist references in their practice. The catalogue contains a historical analysis by Philippe-Alain Michaud of the works of Robert Breer, an essay by Jean-Marc Huitorel on the performative nature of Pierre Labat’s sculptures, and an exploration by Eric Verhagen of the sources of Camila Oliveira Fairclough’s pictorial practice. The book is lavishly illustrated with photographs of the exhibition at Le Quartier and places the works in the context of their encounter with one another and their unexpected correlation with the space at the Quimper Centre d’Art.
