Norm est un duo de designers graphiques helvétiques - Dimitri Bruni et Manuel Krebs - mondialement réputé pour son élégance et sa rigueur, matinées d'une dose d'humour pince sans rire à la limite de la loufoquerie, comme en témoigne Introduction, leur premier livre sur les systèmes, opus véritablement inénarrable et introuvable que nous ne désespérons pas de vous présenter un jour.
Nous commençons cependant par ce Bruce Lee - The King of Kung Fu, originellement édité en 350 exemplaires, complété par le poster éponyme édité en 150 exemplaires. Tous deux, distribués par Lineto, sont épuisés.

We do not remember exactly when and how we came to be in possession of the book Bruce Lee - The King of Kung Fu.
Presumably, we bought it in Beirut (where the book was published) or in Tehran (although it is written in Arabic). Possibly it was a present given to us by someone some time in the past. It must have been in our office for quite a while when, suddenly, we re-discovered it one day.

The brutalist attitude behind this book design inspired us to re-publish it. Our aim was to achieve the best possible reproduction of these already degraded images. In order to minimize any loss in quality, we printed the images on high gloss paper using frequency modulated screens. To lend the images the greatest possible presence, we also completely eliminated any typographical elements from the pages. All texts were in Arabic, hence not accessible to most of us anyway, and they would only have distracted attention from the images.
